“For the love of natural hand-crafted soap to you”. This is my story as to how it all started...

It started with coffee, (awesome, fresh-roasted coffee)! I became a home-roaster lots of years ago back in Eugene, Oregon (small batch’s for my family). Eventually my husband & I moved to Arizona for bluer sky's. The family batch extended to family, friends & their loved ones.

So now that brings us to how I became a soap maker...one day on Instagram I spotted someone with a beautiful picture of coffee soap, of course I thought “I should try that with my own coffee, of course a coffee roaster can make coffee soap”. The wheels were turning. I loved the research, the process & the outcome of a natural bar of soap where you can actually read the ingredients & know what they are. The desire & passion began at that first loaf of coffee soap! The Southwest is dry & so began the research of moisturizing ingredients that my skin would love. Formulating & research it seems is a past-time which is something I really want to share with all of you, and so Acapulco Handmade was born! I sincerely hope you enjoy my products & your skin will love you as much as I enjoy making them.
